horse breeding is a competitive and selective market. Our customers will
be looking for correct conformation, versatility and a willing disposition
in their performance and pleasure horses. Poco Macho Man offers agility,

He is double bred Poco Bueno. Grandson to Poco Bueno on the top side and
again in Poco Dell on the bottom.
Poco Bueno was sired by the great foundation horse King
P-234 who set the standards for the American Quarter horse. Following
in his sire’s hoof prints, he was an AQHA Champion with 37 Halter Pts,
8 Performance Pts, and a ROM for Performance. He was a brown standing
14.3H weighing 1150 lbs. As a yearling he was sold in 1945 for an unheard
of $5,700 to the famed Waggoner Ranch. Later that year his career
began by becoming the Halter Champion yearling in Stamford TX, and he
went on standing as Grand Champion for the next 3 years. In 1948 he began
his cutting career. His amazing ability and lightning speed acquired him
an impressive record and legendary status in the horse industry. Soon
after, he was in great demand and his stud fee rose to an outrageous $5,000.
Poco Bueno produced a total of 36 AQHA Champions, 163
Halter Pt earners, 118 Performance Pt earners, 84 Performance
ROMs earners, 21 Superior Halter Award winners and 13 Superior Performance
Award winners total. Of his 24 foal crops, his best son is considered
to be Poco Dell, an AQHA Champion and another great sire of 18 AQHA Champions,
2 Superior Western Pleasure, 1 Superior Trail, 11 Superior Halter, and
48 Show ROMs earners. His best daughter is considered to be Poco Lena,
also an AQHA Champion, who produced Doc O’lena and Dry Doc.

in appearance and performance regardless of the mares to whom he was bred.
